At Welldon, we are committed to the quality and safety of our products. Therefore, we offer a robust 7-year warranty on all our baby and child travel solutions. This warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects and is designed to provide you with long-term peace of mind.

To ensure your warranty is active and for us to serve you best, please complete our dedicated product registration form at /pages/registration-and-service. Once your product is successfully registered, our team will contact you with more details regarding your warranty coverage.


2. General Returns and Refunds

Your satisfaction is important to us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your Welldon purchase, please review our general return and refund guidelines below:

  • Eligibility: For an item to be eligible for a return and refund, it must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the exact same condition as when you received it.
  • Timeframe for General Returns: You must initiate a general return within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase is mandatory for all return and refund requests.
  • Refund Process: Once your returned item is received and meticulously inspected by our team, we will send you an email notification confirming the receipt and informing you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed promptly, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of business days, subject to your bank's processing times.
  • Exchanges: We facilitate exchanges only for items that are proven to be defective or damaged upon arrival. If you require an exchange for the same item due to defect or damage, please contact our support team directly.
  • Shipping Costs for Returns: Please note that customers are responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with returning items for a general refund or exchange, unless the item is deemed defective or an error occurred on our part.

3. Accident Replacement Policy: Guarded for Love

Understanding that unforeseen circumstances can occur, Welldon provides a unique one-time accident replacement for your car seat within its 7-year warranty period. This policy extends to incidents involving natural disasters. Please be advised that the return shipping cost for an accident replacement unit is the sole responsibility of the user.

To initiate an accident replacement claim, you are required to submit the following comprehensive materials to Welldon within 30 days of the actual accident date:

  • Official Police Report: A complete and unredacted copy of the official police report detailing the accident.
  • Accident Scene Photos: Clear, comprehensive photographs capturing the overall scene of the accident.
  • Photos of Vehicle Damage: Detailed photographs illustrating the extent of the damage to the vehicle involved in the accident.
  • Photos of the Car Seat in the Vehicle: Clear photographs of the car seat **still installed** within the vehicle at the actual accident scene, showing its position and condition.
  • Driver's License Photo: A clear photograph of the valid driver's license of the person operating the vehicle at the time of the accident.
  • Purchase Record Screenshot: A clear screenshot from your original purchase platform, explicitly displaying the order details including the product name, date of purchase, and purchase price.
  • Completed Product Registration: Your Welldon product must be registered via our form at /pages/registration-and-service prior to submitting an accident replacement claim.

Please be aware: Claims for accident replacement submitted after the strict 30-day window from the accident date will be automatically ineligible for any form of accident replacement.


4. Situations Where Replacement Will Not Be Provided

Replacement under the Accident Replacement Policy will be strictly denied in the following circumstances:

  • Illegal Driving: Accidents that are a direct result of illegal driving activities, including, but not limited to, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Insufficient Proof: If the materials submitted by the applicant fail to definitively prove that the car seat was directly involved in a qualifying collision as per the policy.
  • Second-Hand Purchases: Car seats that were acquired from any second-hand platforms or unauthorized resellers (e.g., Dubizzle, Facebook Marketplace, ExpatWoman Classifieds, etc.). Only car seats purchased originally from Welldon or an authorized retail partner are eligible for this policy.
